14 Nov GREENVERSE to invest RM220 million in Terengganu, developing an integrated Scheduled Waste management plant in Kerteh Biopolymer Park (KBP)
GREENVERSE on 14 November 2021 has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Lembaga Tabung Amanah Warisan Negeri Terengganu (LTAWNT), accepting an offer to lease 50-acres of land to build an integrated Scheduled Waste management plant in Kerteh Biopolymer Park. This investment of RM220 million will help create at least 250 new job opportunities for locals in the area.
The development hopes to support industries in the Malaysian East Coast Economic Region particularly in KBP, Kemaman and Kerteh to minimise cost of disposing their Scheduled Waste and to treat waste in a more efficient and sustainable manner. The plant is set to be operational by 1 January 2025.
